Snailzy is a monthly snail mail subscription for kids ages 4 to 12. Every month a fun packed envelope arrives in your child's mailbox full of original characters, stories, crafts, stickers and surprises. It is the analog childhood, delivered.

Kids ages 4 to 7 and 8 to 12. We have age-specific content for both groups. Snailzy makes a great gift from grandparents, aunts, uncles and parents, or a treat for your own kids.

The Shellside characters and world are the same for both. What changes is the complexity of the story, the depth of the content and the level of the craft activity. A five-year-old and a ten-year-old
can both love Snailzy. They just get a version that fits where they are.

Every package includes a new feature from Shellside characters. These are the things kids come to anticipate and look forward to every month. Alongside those, there is always something new they have not seen before.

Dori the snail and Van the squid are Snailzy's original characters. Every subscriber receives a welcome sheet in their first package with a comic strip grid. Each month a new numbered panel arrives to add to the grid. Collect all the panels and watch the story unfold.

Every month we invite Snailzy kids to submit original artwork on that month's theme. One child is selected and their artwork is printed and included in every subscriber's package. If your child is selected, they receive a special surprise in the following month's package.

Your first package ships within a few business days of subscribing. After that, packages ship on the first Wednesday of every month. You will receive an email when it ships.

Yes. Shipping is included in the cost of all plans, both monthly and annual, to Canada and the United States.

Yes. We ship to all Canadian provinces and all 50 US states. Canadian subscribers pay in CAD. US subscribers pay in USD.

Canada: typically 3 to 7 business days after shipping. United States: typically 7 to 14 business days after shipping. We use standard lettermail.

Monthly plan: charged on the same date each month. Annual plan: one payment upfront covering the full year. You will receive a receipt by email after every charge.

Yes. Cancel anytime from your subscriber portal. No phone calls, no explanations needed. If you cancel a monthly plan you keep access through the end of your current billing period. Annual plans are non-refundable after the first package has shipped.

Yes. You can pause your subscription for up to 3 months from your subscriber portal. We will pick back up when you are ready

Absolutely. Email hey@snailzy.com and we will update your subscription before the next package ships.

If something goes wrong with your package, damage, missing items or delivery issues, we will always make it right. Email us. For cancellations, monthly plans end at the next billing cycle. Annual plans are non-refundable after the first package ships.

At checkout, enter the child's delivery address, not yours. After purchase you will receive a printable gift reveal card to put in a card, under the tree, or present in person.

Yes. At checkout, add each child's name, age group and delivery address in the order notes field. We will set up separate subscriptions for each child.

We send all communications to the email address used at checkout, which is yours as the gift giver. The recipient household receives a warm heads-up before the first package arrives but nothing that spoils the surprise.
