These terms govern submissions to the Snailzy Kid Artist program. By submitting artwork, the parent or guardian confirms they have read and agree to these terms.

1. Who Can Submit
The Kid Artist program is open to children ages 4 to 12 who are current Snailzy subscribers. Submissions must be made by a parent or guardian on behalf of their child. By submitting, the parent or guardian confirms that they are the legal parent or guardian of the child named in the submission.

2. What to Submit
Submissions must be original artwork created by the child. Any medium is welcome including drawing, painting, collage, mixed media and digital art. Artwork must be submitted as a JPG, PNG or PDF file with a maximum size of 10MB. There is no theme requirement. Children are encouraged to submit whatever they are proud of.

3. Selection
Each month the Snailzy team selects one piece of artwork to feature. Selection is at our sole discretion. We are not able to provide individual feedback on submissions that are not selected. All families whose child is selected will be notified by email.

4. How Selected Artwork Is Used
By submitting artwork, the parent or guardian grants Snailzy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to:
• Print the selected artwork within Snailzy packages mailed to subscribers across Canada
and the United States
• Feature the artwork on the Snailzy website and social media channels
• Use the artwork in marketing and promotional materials related to the Kid Artist program

We will always credit the child by first name and age when featuring their artwork. We will never share the child's surname, full address or other personal identifying information publicly.

5. Ownership
The child retains ownership of their artwork. The licence granted to Snailzy does not transfer ownership. Snailzy will not sell the artwork or licence it to third parties.

6. Appropriate Content
Submitted artwork must be appropriate for all ages. Snailzy reserves the right to disqualify any submission that contains content we consider inappropriate, offensive or unsuitable for our audience of children and families.

7. Prize
Children whose artwork is selected receive a special surprise in the following month's Snailzy package. The nature of the surprise may vary from month to month and is at our discretion. No cash alternative is available.

8. Privacy
Personal information collected as part of a Kid Artist submission is used only to process the submission and to contact the family if their child is selected. We will not share personal information with third parties except as necessary to operate the program. Please refer to our Privacy Policy at snailzy.com/policies/privacy-policy for full details.

9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at snailzy.com/pages/kid-artist-terms. Continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
